Queen v/s Pawn on 7th Rank - special cases
The position of Queen v/s opponent's Pawn on 7th Rank is more often occurs and the player with the Queen should know if he can win the game or it results in a draw and the player with the Pawn (to be promoted) to see if he can survive without losing and get a draw. The File of the Pawn holds a very important role in such cases. For a Pawn on in any of the King's / Queen's / Knight's Pawn results in a win for the player with the Queen provided he gets to move.

And for a Pawn on in either the Bishop's file or the Rook's file can either result in a win for the player with the Queen (to move) or can result in a draw that is based on where his King is placed. There are ' 3 ' cases and they are discussed below in detail.
Queen v/s Rook Pawn

The red line indicates the win line for the player with the Queen (to move). That means, if his King can be anywhere on the squares of those lines or below, it is a win, else it results in a draw.
In the above case, the win squares are a5 - d5, e4 - e1 and any squares within that results in a win for the player with the Queen.
Queen v/s Bishop Pawn

The red line indicates the win line for the player with the Queen (to move). That means, if his King can be anywhere on the squares of those lines or below, it is a win, else it results in a draw.
In the above case, the win squares are a4 - c4, d3, e3 - e1 and any squares within that results in a win for the player with the Queen.
